We foster student achievement and learning improvement skills that aim to instill self-confidence and self-reliance in all students, particularly those of low-income communities. Through collaboration and innovation, we work to develop academic solutions that build leaders, encourage leadership mentoring, and create sustainable economic improvements for individuals and their communities.

Personal Empowerment
Empowerment by definition means ‘becoming powerful’. Personal empowerment is obtaining the power to have influence within the many spheres of your life. It is not something we feel, but rather something we demonstrate. It is an interactive process of awareness, knowing your strengths and weaknesses, taking action, getting feedback, reflecting on personal skills and goals and making adjustments to achieve those goals. Personal empowerment is about living the life you imagined, because nothing changes unless you change it. A higher education significantly increases an individual’s ability to learn about themselves, their skills, strengths, goals, values, weaknesses and will ultimately empower them to move up the economic ladder. Collectively, academic attainment has proven to help break the multi-generational pattern of low employment, and higher poverty.
